22 First Dance Songs - Chic European Summer Wedding Vibes

Eight months into 2020 and we’re largely still stuck in isolation. For me, that dreamy post-engagement European summer trip blew right out the window the moment Coronavirus started to get serious at the start of the year. For so many bride and grooms, their destination wedding plans literally changed overnight. Travel bans across the world have halted the wedding industry like nothing ever has before with many celebrations of love put on hold, hoping for a time when we can all be together again, dance, sing and celebrate properly!

Now, it’s already August and it feels daunting to even wonder when we’ll be able travel overseas again, let alone have large gatherings. However, not allowing Covid to dampen the spirit of what is truly important at the core of wedding - I wanted to create a First Dance playlist reminiscent of dreamy European destination weddings (and elopements!) that I know will eventuate and be back to normal soon.

The playlist comprises of slow, romantic soulful songs with jazz elements and whimsical vocals. Beautiful First Dance songs to inspire the most intimate moments on the dance floor. Imagine slow sways on cliff tops in Santorini, embraces on Parisienne balconies, divine dips under Sicilian skies, beachside spins in southern Spain. These sweet melodies mixed with warm summer nights are the perfect combination to create memories that will be etched in your mind for eternity. Find your forever song with this chic euro-vibes collection of first wedding dance songs.
